WALT: We are learning how to use division in maths .


 


I found making this slide a bit diffucult only because at first I didn't know the answer until I did this slide and I hope it helped you to .

Prototec Maths

WALT: we are learning to improve our maths skills .








I found this maths session a little bit hard but at the same time easy because some of the questions were times tables and I know my times tables quite well .


Have you ever used Prototec and what was your score and on what stage ?


My goal for next time we use Prototec is to get 100% on Stage 6.

How to make a kuaka :

1.First get 8 feathers




2.Then with the 8 feathers choose 8 words from Te Manu Huruhuru O Te Kura O Paparore to write on the feathers




3. Once you have written all of the 8 words in block letters then colour in the background .




4. Then get another 14 feathers to then colour just any colour you want .




5.Then get 6 more feathers and colour 4 of them just a blank colour ,write 1 word downward from the stalk and with the other one write it from the tip of the feather .




6. Cut all of them out .





7.Then get a template of a Kuaka then glue you feathers on .




                            There is your Kuaka

Experience with Nina 2

WALT: We are laerning how to be kaitiaki to our lakes

I really liked being able to use some of the different tools that Nina kindly let us use , my favourite tool I got to use was the pH . I already knew a little bit about pH because my dad uses them for his work . Another cool one was the Thermometer , it tells you what the temperature of the water is . If the red line is at the top then it means that the water is warm and is sick . All of the tools are very cool and not that complicated .

Experience with Nina 1 :


I found it interesting how Mosquitofish / Gambusia don’t lay eggs they just have babies . , My favourite thing was playing Who Dirtied The Water ? It's A game where you get given a jar of different stuff like dirt and egg shells and orange peels and then we had to pour all of them in and at the end we all had to try and figure out who dirtied the water . We also learned about the water cycle .

I found Writing this peice of writing Pretty easy and fun .
