Recount with a difference

Mystery Box or $50

A Mystery box or $50! How do I choose, I’m thinking about going for the mystery box but in it there might just be one little chocolate bar but if I take the 50 dollars I can purchase all the chocolate I want. My mind is struggling to choose one of the items so it puts its thinking cap on and starts to think properly,after a long time of thinking my mind finally decides to take the mystery box. Instead of ripping it open I slowly open it from the top as I’m shaking with fear, my mind is thinking about what might be in it, he thinks there might just be a Banana peel or it might be something really good like 100 dollars. Inside the box wasn’t anything good but nothing bad either, there was another box so this time instead of slowly opening it I ripped it up just to find another box, my mind thought “this could go on forever!” But this time in the box there was a ball, I’m quite disappointed that I got a ball. So I shake the ball to hear another ball inside it bouncing around I find a sharp item that can pop the ball like a nail or pencil, once I’ve popped the ball it turns out the thing bouncing inside was another box so I shake this so hard that $200 comes flying out and lands right on my dogs small fluffy head.I soon remember that I have never had a dog until now I’m so happy that I chose the mystery box now!

Halloween

WALT: we are learning to write creative,scary stories

 Halloween

Once upon a time there was a 10 year old boy whose name was bill. bill stayed with his grandmother every Thursday. but, bill found his grandmother quite spooky and didn’t want to go this Thursday because it was also Halloween and bill already found his grandmother scary enough. so bill thought if he convinced his parents they might let him stay home. so bill asked his mum a question. “mum?” bill asked, “yes hun” answered his mum. “can I stay here instead of going to grandmas” asked bill , then his mum answered with “sorry but your dad and I are going to a meeting.” “but why can’t i just stay with olivia?” “sorry but she’s going to michaels house.” “damn, oh well” “it will be fun she’s taking you and georgie to a carnival.” “yay that might make it a bit more fun !” I said. on the way to the carnival georgie spotted some posters that said “beware karen is near!” Georgie then said “who’s karen?”, “must be some sort of clown” answered grandma .

I found this hard because there were three things I had to put on my blog .

As Junior drifted off to sleep in his Lighting Mcqueen Pjs , he heard




either a cat meowing , a dog barking , a monster scratching , or his dad snoring




. He pulled out his favourite teddies for protection and did his one and only




Superman dive under his bed then he realized that it couldn't have been his dad




because he was not sleeping “hmm” junior thought . He crawled a little bit




further and saw what was a mixture of a cat meowing , a dog barking , a




monster scratching but not his dad snoring . At this moment in time he thought




his eyes were going to pop out of his head , “ping” his head went . I need cat




Food , dog food and monster food . A couple weeks later his cat




Food , dog food and monster food arrived . he ran to the kitchen mashed the cat




food ,Dod food and the monster food together then put in a bowl and placed it




In front of his bed and waited . He fell asleep then heard loud thudding from his




Bed , he ran and said “ holy guacamole” .



This piece of writing was very fun and I found this very easy because you could use your imagination.

My  name is Lucas William Stanbury. In my family there are 4 people. I have 2 dogs , 3 cats , 2 pigs and a lot of ducks and chickens. My Dogs name is Dash and his brothers name is Bolt . I love them both IMMENSELY! I also love all of the other  animals on the farm. I have a lot of friends like Kalani , Cage , Jake, Oscar , frano, Leyton, Harlen, Isaac, Brooklyn and lots more. I really enjoy spending time with them on the weekend and at school. I have the world's coolest! Parents. They get me takeaways and make me delicious dinner . I love their dishes so, so much. My dad is super! I love his cooking and his sense of humour. My mum is so awesome! she is the best basketball coach ever she coaches for 2 teams paparore under elevens and kaitaia intermediate under 13s. I love Mum so much. I play basketball for Paparore Lakers under 11s. Playing for my school and with my friends. My favourite drink is Fanta and Mountain Dew. My favourite animal is a lion because I'm a Leo and just because they're cool. My favourite food is pepperoni pizza and butter chicken risotto with chicken. that was all about me!

I found writing this piece of writing quiet easy.

My Holidays

In my holidays I had an awful 10 hour drive to Tauranga,See my 17 year old cousin.He was very excited to see us! And there were surprises all around. The way I said “We should get some principal Tom and Auntie Karen”. next thing we had pizza for dinner! Number 2 surprise, Toms step brothers name is Cody, so that means Cody is our step cousin.Went to an awesome rock climbing place called rocktopia, Another cool place called Flip Out. Then we visited my Aunty Kay and she gave us delicious cookies. That was the best day of my holidays!

What The Class Room Tools Did On The Holidays

The sticky notes made a giant tower. The rulers had a challenge to see if they could make it over. The glue sticks did flips and landed on their glue ends. The lights were changing colours as they flashed. The clocks were ticking faster than before.The tables were muddled up like a puzzle. The scissors cut a crown for Mrs Stevenston.

The chromebooks made sure there was at least one chromebook at every table. The headphones practiced whipping with their cords. The chairs played checkers and they all cleaned themselves up just before the beginning of the term.

The Seven Sisters of Matariki


Once There Was A Young Warrior Named Junior. Junior lived With His Seven Brothers, Jack, Harley, Ian, John, Jeremy and Liam. They were the most handsome men in Pamapuria. As they walked up the street, the brothers heard the most beautiful waiata they had ever heard! the brothers followed the waiata to the end of the street. The brothers found seven beautiful, wahine. All the brothers fell instantly in love, all expect junior. Junior was very suspicious about his brothers wives. Junior formed into a Chameleon and watched the wives carefully. Junior found out that the wives were Tui and fussy eaters. “These Wahine Are Not Of Our Kind” “They Are Tui!” Said Junior, to his brothers. The brothers met at a farm and wove a magic net to capture the Tui. Harley spotted the Tui “There!” Said Harley “Got, Em”! Junior quickly formed into a Morepork and took the Tui to Uru Te Nganana, God Of Stars. Each winter solstice, the Stars Of Matariki shine brightly.

All about Me

I'm that kid that has Loads of friends, Like kalani,Brooklyn, Damon,Lincoln,Jake and lots of others. Mum found these awesome basketball shoes for $20. I don't like, but love playing Roblox on my tablet. Same with sleeping because my pillow is so comfy. Along comes my annoying brother whose name is Jaxon. I almost forgot I've got like 20,000 ducks and chickens, two puppies, two pigs, three cats and three sheep. My Favourite movies are Star Wars the last Jedi, Kong Skull Island And Real Steel. The last Jedi is probably the most funniest Movie I've ever seen.Hahahaha! Kong skull island is full of action and bamboo spiders. Im saving up for a giant lego set . i love to eat immeasurable amounts of risotto. Mmmm! Did you know that my dad blew up the hospital pool! yes he did,but apart from that i love him loads . Mum might be getting us two-strokes for easter! YAHOO!!! Mum also says that yvette is our other mother hAH! That means that Daithi and oscar are our brothers ( not actually ). I also have a whole bunk bed to myself. AHHH SO NICE!!!! I love myself and especially my family. That was all about me
